Management Server Specification

For management servers, these utilized a RAID array of HDDs or SATA SSDs. Starting in 2025, with a Proxmox deployment, it is recommended that you add a NVMe drive to this system. If the server followed the recommendations, the last two bays on the right are U.2 NVMe compatible already. It is recommended that you add at least one 7.68TB drive. If still used in a management server configuration, this drive will be used for all the master virtual machines from the NDG VM Distribution System. You should designate the NVMe drive as NETLAB1 and you can leave the RAID configured and designate it as NETLAB2.
